      Deseret Peak is one of Utah's 8 Ultra-Prominence Peaks. Even so, it is a pretty easy class 1 hike and a short drive from Salt Lake city. to spice it up I tacked on two more adjacent peaks: South and North Willow. Here's my TR:http://www.summitpost.org/stansbury-traverse/794631
