I have a ton of yard work assigned to me this weekend, but if I sneak out of the house early enough tomorrow morning I have time to hit the trails. Any recommendations on a good class 2/3 peak within an hour of Boise that I can knock out in a few hours? I've done Cervidae Peak a couple of times, so looking for something new.

Cranked up the class 3 S.E. rib of Squaw Butte yesterday morning. From my house in west Boise it took 4 hours total to get there, climb and get back to my house. Will have to remember this peak whenever I am short on time again.

I think SuperDave and BigDan also have a "local page. Here's mine:

Let me know if you would like to have a company for tomorrow. I've also done Cervidae, Lucky Peak and Table Rock (numerous times) and I am interested in something new. Thanks!

Just got a chance to check the board. I'm going to try to be at the trailhead for the east face by 7-7:20(5.6 miles from Hwy 52). Look for a older, silver Nissan Maxima.
