Due to obligations on Sat AM.I am wanting to climb OLD HYNDMAN. I will be going up Sat PM, RV at the trial head. I plan to ride in to the junction and take off for the peak. Looking to see if anyone wants to come along.
Due to the heat and and it being Sunday. I want to leave the trail head at 6 AM. Hope to be back to the car before 3.

Post if interested,

DL

Hi Doug. My name is Danielle. I'm new to Boise (two weeks). I am really looking into getting into the mountains and meeting some like minded people who like to do the same. I don't know anything about old hyndman, but i'm interested just the same.

We looked at the summit from Grays Peak last weekend. there may be a little snow in the chutes but mostly clear.

Do you ride bikes, the first 2.4 miles only gains 700' and this will save a ton of time going in and out?

Crossing the creek to get into Big Basin can be difficult this time of year. You may want to have a secondary peak planned just in case.
