Hi Kerry,

You should feel lucky, that you would give birth before an elevated FSH. As you might researched on it, current medical knowledge suggests that when there are no more follicules in the ovary, ovaries stop responding to FSH which causes an elevated FSH.

The only contrary research is at

which claims that it is possible to "grow" in-vitro egg from an ovarian tissue, thus egg reserve is not limited. However, this technique is not yet proven to be implemented to regular patients.
