As you all know of Mom, her sense of humor through tough times and true joy of life will be the focus. She had mentioned to us in many ways and many times, that she wants a themed party, rather than a sad funeral or service. So, we will be using her wishes to have a Wizard of Oz themed party for her.

I saw that there was a basket delivered to the hospital emergency room in memory of my mom. What a WONDERFUL idea! Mom always had random acts of kindness, whether it be paying for someone's tolls on the bridge or road behind us, to buying someone else dinner, to holding the door for someone when she could hardly hold the door for herself.
You all were such a great support for her, and for that I thank you completely.
We, and mom, totally understand the geographical distance of traveling for her party. Your thoughts during that time will travel far!
