That's what I'm thinking too. But then it comes down to safety issues. My mom doesn't seem to be aware enough or is in total denial, to do anything to help him. As of today, I'm off work indefinitely because of the ongoing heart failure and all the stress of everything. I'm planning to spend much more time over at my parents to see what's going on and to try to discuss roles and responsibilities with my mom. Also my dad told me he wants to do some things before he goes. It seems like his "good" days are dwindling fast. So, I need to dedicate time to him to ensure that he has the opportunity to accomplish those things that he wants to do.
