Kenneth was on 25 mg twice a day for several years,,,then they reduced it to 12.5 and he has been on that dosage for about 3 years. Kenneth also has a medtronic ICD and this is actually his second one. The first lasted about 4 years it has an alarm that sounded and told us it was time for a battery change...they actually replace the whole ICD not the battery. He is not on Amiodarone. I am sorry that your sister is having such a rough time and will keep you as well as her in our prayers. Seems like all of us here on the board have family who are struggling in one way or another...It is so hard to watch loved ones go through health battles. I pray pray and pray some more for things to be better for everyone.
