I am so sorry to read about Jim....sometimes I think Bob has lack of oxygen also, but the hospital did some testing on him and says he doesn't need oxygen. He is very forgetful, but not near what you are going thru. Maybe the home health nurse could describe to the doctors what is going on..assuming she has been there when Jim has this behavior.. Is it possible he has some dementia, when my mother in law was first diagnosed with dementia, her actions at times were very weird, since he listens to the nurse maybe she can convince him to use the oxygen 24/7...I hope this is of some help to you, my frustration with Bob is, one of his doctors told him to be careful when he eats since he has a problem with his esophagus,that comment is embedded in his brain now, so now I am having problems getting him to eat..like he needs to lose more weight.
