Thanks for asking. I was actually doing better yesterday than I am today. My surgery was on Wednesday and my vision was a total blur all day. Then yesterday I was able to see better out of that eye than I have in years. Unfortunately, when I woke up today I was in terrible pain and my vision was a total blur again. I spent this morning at the hospital with the specialist. Apparently, having cataract surgery after a cornea transplant isn't always a smooth journey. Right now my eye is in a full blown reaction so I'm having to use my anti-rejection drops every hour until I see the eye surgeon again on Monday. My pupil is dilated to relax my eye and it supposed to stay that way until Sunday or Monday, so I won't really know until Monday if my vision has improved again. My surgeon was actually surprised that I could see so well yesterday. I hope it all comes back to that because for that short time it was nothing less than amazing!!
Hugs,
Janice
