I was recently released after 5 days in hospital and given the diagnosis of cardiomyopathy. My EFG was 15% when I was admitted, my heart rate was 160 and my white blood cell count very high. I am a 47 year old woman 5"7 139. My legs and ankles were swollen up to 4x normal size. After 2 chest x rays and, they tapped both my lungs and removed 1800 ml of. Fluid. I then had an angiogram, and MRI.
I was feeling much better when I was released. Currently, 3:00 am I woke up and I have horrendous pain on my lower left side, hard to breath and to walk. It is a sharp shooting pain, on a scale of 1 tp 10, 10 being worse it is a 9.
I have an appointment w my cardiologist tomorrow, but I'm wondering if this is a side effect of taps or if anyone has experienced this before?
