That's good enough for ME. I didn't know such a simple gesture to fallen comrades would cause such a stir, but then again, it's GOOD to see so many 'Posts' over such a short period of time. It would be nice if MORE people would get involved - the MORE the merrier!
An omission on my earlier Post when I mentioned my Irish friend being in TWO fine Regiments, they were of course The Royal Irish Regiment and the Ulster Defence Regiment. I also served alongside The Royal Ulster Rifles in the late '60's and in Germany with (their successors) The Royal Irish Rangers in the late '70's. When I was in Northern Ireland in 1970, I spent 3 months working in Armagh Police Station with 'The 'B' Specials. (as a soldier, and before their DISBANDMENT) If you would like (for the purposes of interest or research) to 'Google' the name 'B Specials' it WILL interest you!
