Thru research, I have discovered that my direct ancestors (the McKees) were born in Donegore Parish, County Antrim. The ancestor who emigrated to America, James Sloan McKee, was born in 1832 in the parish, and was baptized in the church- I have a copy of his baptism record. And from what I've seen of the church website, it's a fine-looking building indeed.
At any rate, his father, Samuel McKee, was born in 1811 around the same area. Beyond then, things get murky, but I'm quite sure his ancestors emigrated/were forced over from Scotland.
