Luck is bullshit

Have you ever heard the term if you brake a mirror and you will get 7 years of bad luck
or if you walk under a ladder it will cause bad luck
but the deal is these words do have meanings but it dose not include any luck in it
like the mirror if you brake the mirror you could get hurt thats all
and the ladder you can also get hurt cause why walk under a ladder well unless you have a hard hat

but the deal is people are ready to spend tons of money and help to make them more happier or something else
like 4 leaf clover or a lucky horse shoe there are going sales on ebay for a 4 leaf clover around 20 bucks
and i do not understand the horse shoe fetish

but there are books on amazon.com witch offer you to know how to get lucky and a great life (Good luck with that)

they main reason is that many people like to live in a fantasy world that some luck ferry offers you Good luck the rest of your life
if you wear Bunny paws, 4 leaf clover and horse shoes

and ive just read this book from the internet its Huge pile of Bullshit http://www.amazon.com/Luck-Essential-Guide-Deborah-Aaronson/dp/0061491152/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1224376803&sr=8-12

it says all this sort strange things about human parts black cats and blue when i saw this word "blue" and i think they are talking about the Bible

but in this book (You can check the inside of it by clicking the cover of the book on that site link)

it says something about Eyes:An Eyelash that falls out may be placed on the back of your hand and blow away as you make a wish.
A Twitching Eyelid is a sign of good luck. To meet a Crosseyed person(Notably a woman)is considered lucky.

this aint my words its from the book

but i hope you enjoy my thoughts of this

with best regards Hreinn Ingi

When mirrors were first introduced to the world, they were a pure luxury. Only the elite and/or rich could afford them. Even so, back then, there was no wal mart 4 miles down the road to replace one that was broken by the servants. In hopes to reduce the risk of mirrors breaking, the heads of the house instilled a fear based on superstition in breaking the mirrors. I am not sure of the statistics of how many were broken before the superstition was instilled versus after, but the legacy remains to this day

As for "luck" yes, I agree, as most rational, even non rational people who actually pescribe to random chance bettering their lives. So a Bullshit episode on this would be not condusive I feel.
