I nearly lost my belief in humanity.

Then, I watched some episodes of your show. They did not really do anything in supporting said belief but at least it was a funny and entertaining way of losing it in its entirety. Well, or so it seemed in the beginning. But I started to realise something quite quickly:

In all these episodes there are these people who do not belief in reptile aliens, conspiracy theories, a healing chi and are generally NOT complete nut but more or less dedicated to "the art" of science.

It's good to hear somebody say "FUCK YOU" or "THAT'S BULLSHIT" when talking to a creationist. It just is. It warms my god damn heart.

It's not polite and certainly not correct in any civil argumentation.

But more and more I get the feeling that when dealing with people who simply don't want to look at provable facts, you just got to use these words from time to time.

And if that would count as being exactly the way you criticse other people for, then at least its funny, just in the way a fart is. Gross but awesome if directed at another person.

Here is a short clip of Sam Harris talking about the value of outright mockery of retarded ideas:

Obviously we need to have good scientific rebuttals to bad ideas. But some things are so far beyond reason that it has to be said by at least one source that these things are just plain fucking stupid. Then, with that point of view made known as an alternative to the very strong and common point of view that such things are true, we can examine the evidence for both sides.
