My son told me that he learned, heard or read somewhere that Penn had called himself an Objectivist. Can anyone verify this?

When Penn's Myspace page was active, a few of us had a discussion with him about Objectivism. I can confirm first-hand that Penn calls himself an Objectivist.

I think he also mentioned it on the radio show once or twice.
