I was once tossed out of a job interview because I swatted a spider that came down from the ceiling in front of me. The man interviewing me said, "You didn't give it a chance!"
I figured that PETA would have something to say about the fly. Surprised it took em' this long. Shows ya they have too much time on their hands! PETA- GET A LIFE!!!!!
I believe that if you're a member of PETA you HAVE no life to get. Besides, as Penn & Teller pointed out a couple seasons ago, PETA kills animals themselves, dogs and cats and such, much bigger life forms than flies. Maybe PETA should re-establish their headquarters somewhere close to, oh, I don't know, the garbage dump in Mexico City where so many humans live in such mind-numbing poverty they pick through the trash every day for food. Then PETA can do what they do best- ignore the human suffering on the planet (1 billion with no access to fresh water) and humanely trap a lot of flies and take them on a Lear jet to the Amazon rain forest where they can be eaten by strangely-hued frogs.
It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to see PETA finally blossoming into self-parody. They are like a 90 year old war criminal who has lost self control. You almost feel sorry for him, sitting there shitting his pants, but then you remember how fucking evil he was when he had his wits about him. So, you just kinda shake your head, and move on.
