On Youtube you can find large numbers of videos about debate between atheism and theists
but when i got on a video of some clerk saying more people have been killed in name of atheism than any religion on this planet. (i know these idiots don't fact check there stuff)

Claiming that Stalin,Mao and even Hitler killed in name of atheism even tho i find it funny that Hitler was never an atheist.
But when you start to think these words, "killing in name of atheism" and when you start calculating the meaning of them and start to think, then you find out its pointless to say more people been killed by atheism, because its meaningless cause there is no reason to kill for atheism cause your killing for no one, not even for the flying spaghetti monster.

But on the other hands Stalin,Mao and Hitler all had one thing in common they were dictators, people who killed those who disagree
about there ideas or political views.

But now in the 21st century we can now proudly claim that more people been saved than killed of all the wars and all the genocides combined together, because of atheism or theism, no neither reason.

Because we are humans, proud to exists and being a part of this vast cosmic universe, we still have great things to learn about us and our universe.

But the main enemy of humanity is not religion its ignorance, ignorance always eats and never sleeps it has managed to hide behind religions back. Even some atheist have ignorance and spending time on bashing religion feeding ignorance and keeping it alive.
for atheism to survive we have to be on defense and the tactics the best defense is a greater offense does not work for atheists nor theists, And we atheists are using that tactic witch has proven to not to work in any cases.


And this fight between Creationism and Evolution is a hard fight, but what we need to know is evolution has already won and its always been the winner. Creationism will win the battles but evolution has won the war before the battles started



and the strange part of this is i spend 2 hours writing this while i was just gonna make a 15 minutes joke about killing in name of atheism.
I know i maid some writings out of context and such and i would happily get some corrections if i maid some
but i will defend my rights and others to think freely and be free of ignorance and greed

Nah, I think that's all backwards.

"Ignorance" is a popular buzzword against bigotry and fanaticism, but it's just plain wrong to say that ignorance our devil.

All of those horrible things happened not because people lacked complete knowledge (which is almost certainly going to be the case on all issues forever), but because they affirmatively believed some very wrong and specific things. Religion is one of them.

e.g.,

"God will destroy our city of we don't get rid of the homos and whores."

"The Jews secretly plotted to cause our economic problems."

"Our problems will be fixed if we give Stalin control of everything."

That's a big risk on this forum. We don't even have to log in before posting, so we don't even get the most basic of sobriety tests.

People like Stalin and Mao did not kill in the name of atheism. They killed in the name of "the state" or "the collective", or whatever name they gave to their new religion that is based on subservience to a government.

Anyone who sees any real difference between the church and the state isn't paying attention. They are both organizations that can only exist when weak minded individuals bow down and recognize that their own wills are unimportant when compared to that of whoever claims to be in charge of the "greater good".

It's true that Stalin and Mao didn't commit atrocities publicly "in the name of atheism" but I do believe from the evidence that The New Turks (Ottomans) privately committed Genocide against the Armenians in the name of science and atheism, even though at times tried to rein in the public under the banner of Islam, which ultimately failed because Islamic religionists feared their faith was under attack by "secularism". Too bad however The New Turks and Ottoman Empire under this reign of terror succeeded at least in wiping out over a million neighboring Armenians in the process.
