A sequence on an old special

Many years ago, I remember seeing a P&T special on television that included a videotape or kinescope of a magician performing in, I believe, France. He was doing the "Saw A Lady In Half" trick, and was using his daughter as his assistant. He put her on a stand, covered her midsection with a sheet and used what (in my half-remembered impressions) might have been a huge buzzsaw. When the saw went through her, it threw the sheet and what appeared to be viscera into the audience.

I'm interested in knowing which show I saw that on and who the magician was. Any help would be appreciated.
