That would be an excellent topic for a PhACT meeting. That "what if" question is huge. We often see it in "B" grade movies ... what if Hitler won the war, what if Jesus was not crucified, etc. We also experience that kind of thing on a more personal level .. what if Joe was not speeding that day, what if Madeleine had studied zoology instead of psychology.
