With my company's typical managerial panache, I was informed this morning that I would have to work late to fill in for a coworker on vacation; consequently I was unable to arrive at the Barnes&Noble cafe till 7:50, instead of 7pm when the Philly Brights Munch was supposed to start. If anyone arrived more punctually and left because they didn't see any Meetup going on, you have my apologies.
The last munch was marked by animated conversation that lasted till the bookstore's closing time. I encourage everyone to come to next month's gathering, which will be on Monday, 8 October, again at 7pm at the Barnes&Noble cafe on the second floor of the store at 1805 Walnut Street. Our table will be marked by a cheery red-and-black-on-white sign.
