Seems to be a lot of searches on that lately, and it has me curious. Does it expire?

EPICURIOUS SAYS COMMERCIAL PEANUT BUTTERS LIKE JIF AND SKIPPY CAN BE STORED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE UP TO SIX MONTHS.

THE FOOD MARKETING INSTITUTE SAYS AN OPENED JAR OF PEANUT BUTTER WILL KEEP LONGER IF REFRIGERATED BUT IT SAYS TO ONLY KEEP IT FOR TWO TO THREE MONTHS.
