I really have been having trouble logging in!!!

Anyway...how's everyone? I decided to stay home from work today...mental health day!!!!

Suzanne...I didn't plan my pregnancy w/ my work schedule. I thought I'd be able to do that, but when it started to take longer than expected, I didn't even worry about my job. I was able to take sick days and unpaid leave for maternity time...my school district was pretty relaxed about the whole thing. With my second pg (remember, I had a miscarriage) we didn't "plan" that one at all. We just got lucky, I guess. I would have been due some time in May...that would have been perfect!!! My husband and I decided that for the next baby, I'd take a year off!!! I'm very excited about that!!! I can't stand working anymore anyway...I just want to stay home a be a "mommy" for a while...just until my daughter starts school....and hopefully, we'll have another baby soon....well....

I understand the let's see what happens. Sarah took about a year to conceive so it happened when we "planned" just a year later. :lol This time around I am due on October 2nd. Obviously not a teachers planning, but I know that my school district is also very cool about sick days and unpaid maternity. I was just wondering what other teachers did.

Wonder how come you're having so much trouble getting on. That IS strange.

It is hard to plan a pregnancy. I kept saying I wanted a baby in the spring. Well, it took longer, so we had her in August. Then the 2nd time we said spring, definitely, took 2 years, so who cared? We were just happy to have another one-in JULY! Then I decided spring would be too hard, newborn all through summer (hot, sticky). so I wanted a fall baby, but I better try early because it takes us so long to conceive. Nope, not this time, it happened in 2 months, and we had another July baby. It happens when it happens, right? I just hope it happens for you soon!
