Louis Dumond and Sigi arrive at their castle to the surprising scene of a robed visitor being teased by their ghost -- in fully formed presence(!). They walk into the entry hall in time to see the spook trying to pull the stranger's hood back.
Countess Sigula clears her throat. "Hello, what's this here?" Darting a grin in her direction, the ghost vanishes. He is heard to be laughing all the way down the hall, then silence from him.
Sigi turns to the darkly robed visitor. "I'm sorry about the ghost; he's been teasing us for weeks now, but thank you, too, as this is the first time we've actually seen him. How may we help you, sir?"
Louis nods to him, then darts a glance towards the stairs, and thinks to the vampire hiding up there: Why don't you just come down here, Wren? That girl is much too antisocial. |
