Pure North Charitable Lacrosse League (Spring/Summer)

Good day everyone,

Please forward to your contact list. I apologize in advance if you get this message more then once.

I know I have spoken to many people over the last couple of years regarding a Thursday Night Mens Charitable Lacrosse League. Presently, I have secured floor time for this league at the Pickering Complex. It is very important to know the numbers of individuals interested in playing. The proceeds raised from this league will go towards, Pure North Lending a Hand in support of the less fortunate in our community.

The League will commence play on Thursday, April 30, 2009 and will continue thru to Thursday August 6, 2009 for a total of 15 weeks. There may be 3-4 nights that might be played on the Tuesday night, however, my hope is to have all games played on Thursday nights. There will be 6 teams. Times of the games will be, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 pm. Registration will be on a first come basis. Due to the timing, I need to know the commitment of players a.s.a.p. The cost to play will be $145.00 - $165.00, depending on the numbers (team shirt included).

I must be very clear here. I am fully aware of other leagues operating in the area. This league will benefit less fortunate people within our communities. All proceeds (except for costs) will go to charity. If you are playing in a league already, please continue supporting that league. If you feel like playing a second night, I would be more than happy to have your support for the Pure North Charitable Lacrosse League.
