Welcome! I am anxious to hear from other Living History professionals. Does your Museum use trained interpreters, professional actors, volunteers? We have been presenting an historically accurate Theatrical troupe with trained interpreters in our 1836 village for several years. This year, we are expanding into the realm of "Museum Theatre" offering special indoor programs and performances. How can we get interpreters and museum staff to feel comfortable in an acting environment? Can we use "actors" in an historical troupe? Join in on the ongoing debate: Can interpreters act? Can actors interpret? What problems have challenged your museums?
