Around end of 1942 an independent rifle brigade of the Polish Army was moved from Fife to the towns you mentioned. My father was based at Alva. There were also artillery troops in the Kincardine area.
You will probably know that Alloa for many years had a Polish club.
I remember when I was young visiting my father's friend in Sauchie.
Tillicoultry even after the war had Polish troops based there.
