My granddad - who unfortunately I never met - was Polish and served in the Polish army around 1923 and 1926. I am trying to find out the name of his rank. All I know is that his role was to carry water around to cool down machineguns. I would appreciate to hear from someone who is familiar with the ranks of the Polish army pre-2nd WW.
