I have recently discovered that my grand uncle Edward Davidson immigrated from Poland to Edinburg after world war second.He was in the Anderson Army and fighted in Monte Casino.Ed Davidson was a founder of the Scottish Polish Cultural Assosiation in Edinbourgh..He has changed his name from Dawidowicz to Davidson after he has settled in Edinburg, he has married Jean.I have already contacted the above assosiation but nobody could helps me with some information about my uncle.My uncle has passed away(I dont know the date).Since I am seraching for the history of my family I am very interested to learn more on Edward Davidson.
