when you turn the gun on. put your finger in the breach. WARNING DO NOT PULL THE TRIGGER IF YOU DONT WANT TO USE YOUR FINGER A BATTLE SWAB WILL WORK. but when you put something into the break look at the display light. if the light turns green or blue(not sure what the color is for a dm4 but any color other than the color when you first turn it on) then your eyes are on. when you dont have any paint in your gun the board goes into a delayed eye mode where in order to shoot you must hold down the trigger for a second for it to shoot. so press the bottom membrain untill the led lights blink red. this means the eyes are off. all you have to do is pull the trigger. and you should be a shoot or dry fire your gun. hope this helps if not im sure brian will help you more.
