For the last 4 years my son has dealt with reflux, major congestion/drainage and feeding problems. He was in OT/feeding therapy for 2 1/2 years and he has had a T&A and sinus surgery. He had been on countless reflux medications and antibiotics due to chronic sinusitis. Nothing worked. He was constantly ill and wouldn't eat. I finally hit rock bottom a little over a month ago and looked into crainal sacral therapy. I found a therapist in my area and started with this. He suggested my son also see a chiropractor because he felt a compression in his upper neck area. He has been seeing both the CST and the chiropractor for a month now. My son has had no congestion or illness since we started these therapies. He is on no medication for the reflux because he is having no symptoms. Please check into this if nothing else has worked. Here are some sites you can check out.

I am new here, and thankful to find this message board.
I have been searching the internet for help for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. We adopted her at 1 year, and she has had acid reflux since the day we got her. We have no prior info. on it in the limited history given for her.
I am glad to see the subject of alternatives to medicine, as I would like to go this route. I have read negative things about meds, and was wondering if there are others out there who have tried other alternatives to meds.
I saw a website about a supplement called A.M.P. Has anyone tried it? It is expensive, and we are NOT wealthy, but I would do anything to afford it if it works!
As far as sleep problems...It seems to be common with most children suffering from acid reflux! I know we sure have had our share of sleep issues!!!
I am also interested in the link between acid reflux and asthma.
Our pediatrician has been no help to us - she just doesn't want to believe our daughter has acid reflux! I should have her spend the night a couple nights to help her understand!
Thanks for letting me ramble!
Hope to learn, and help others, too, as we all embark on this journey to find help for our children!
