Church events, May

In addition to the normal services:

Thurs 13 May 04: County Rogation event at Dorchester Abbey. Walk from Abbey at 6pm through Little Wittenham led by the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire, Mrs Anne Kelaart, and The Rector of Dorchester. The Bishop of Dorchester will speak at the Abbey service at 7:30pm.

Thurs 20 May 04: Ascension Day. As we will not be going to the Ascension Day Fair on Ascension Island (despite flights leaving from Brize Norton), the local alternative is the TEAM SERVICE at Wittenham Clumps. Meet at Little Wittenham Church at 7:30pm to walk to the Clumps for a service at 8pm. (In Little Wittenham Church if weather unsuitable.)

Sat 22 May 04: The South Oxfordshire Bell Ringers will be ringing here, so we can relax outside and listen! (7 - 9 pm)
