On Friday 20th January,the Local History Society will be holding its annual Social and Work in Progress meeting, when members will present some of the work that has been carried out during the last year. Incuded in the programme will be a talk by Ken Wise on some aspects of Drayton’s Social History, David Watkin will give us an update on the Village History Website and Charles Dickerson will give a talk entitled 'Houses and People-Then and Now'. Videos of a village fete held in the 80s, and of Mount Farm Airfield in wartime will also be shown. The meeting starts at 7.30 in the Village Hall, on Friday 20th Jan and all are welcome.
