Here are the (corrected) dates of this summer's village activities. Feel free to add more events and information about these events to these messages.
Sat 23 June: Church Fete in the field next to the playground. Let the fete committee know if you can help: More details will follow in a separate post. Please contact Donna Watkin if you can help with arrangements beforehand (donations or collecting door to door for stalls, setting up on the day, that sort of thing).
Sat 14 July: Drayton St Leonard Music Fest. See the adjacent post for details - buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
Sat 28 July: Tennis Tournament: Thanks to Diana Cavendish and Dougie & Kate Patterson, the Tennis Tournament will be held on 28 July. All entrants should have received their pairings by now - if not contact Hilarie Rogers, Simon Richards or Tina Cox. Practice sessions are held Saturday mornings at Furlongs from about 10 o'clock (unless there is water standing on the court), and the generosity of the owners extends to allowing practices on both courts at any socially convenient time.
