A Scougall with 2 "ll"'s

I think I might be the first "Scougall" to emerge from the mists onto this very special forum you have created! And thanks for thinking of doing this. I'm contributing because my father's mother's maiden name was Scougall, and I have inherited it as one of my middle names. And yes, my father was Scottish, although he emigrated to New Zealand, although I have ended up in Perth Australia. I had no idea that this name was as "common" as it appears to be from your website research. Thanks again!
