Hello gentlemen,

This is a project I've been working on from time to time since the start of the year. It's for a group-build taking place on the portuguese modelling forum www.modelismo-na.net . I decided to start this little vignette after seeing the attached photograph that shows the 232 in such a precarious position. I've done a lot of research and I'd like to thank Ian Stapley and Luis Alho that helped me a lot

So, it's hard to tell where this action took place but the general consensus has been that it might have happened prior to 1939-40 with a trianing unit, given the overall characteristics of the vehicle, speacially the un-mounted machine gun and canonn aswell as the soldiers uniforms and helmet.

Two blocks of plaster were casted and I preceeded to engrave the detail with a needle attached to my scalpel handle and a little ruller made out of alluminium soda can. It just needs some more rubble and a good paintjob. The vehicle still nees to be reworked: new front grill, new mudguards, new return-rollers and new side grills.

Anyway, here's my progress:

Happy modelling,

Francisco
