Thanks for your responses, I am a big admirer of both of your work and it's great to hear from you.
Adam - I also have the Trumpeter KV-2 kit with a heap of PE and tracks etc., waiting to go, so I'll need to think of something else to do to it, now that I have done Tamiya's little kit. Perhaps a burn-out? A scorched and mega rusted KV-2 would be quite a challenge! Progress shots of my 1:48 King Tiger will appear over on Mig's forum in 'Tiny Tigers' soon.
John - the M10 was fun but the KV-2 allowed a little more freedom with the weathering, rust etc. The M10 now resides in SoCal at the home of my dear friend Stan Spooner, it was his birthday present for last year! I carried it in hand luggage across the Atlantic.... I wonder what the folks at UK or US Customs would have though had my bag been inspected..?
