Funnily enough, I'm doing a StuG as well. I'm working on DX07 StuG.III G (Georg Bose), but have decided to do this one OOB.
Might have the KT ready as well. Not sure yet.
Really hope you get this done in time for EXPO. Would love to see it in the flesh.
