Hello All;
I'd like to show a couple of pics of my latest model. This is the all resin/photo-etched kit by Fighting48th of the British A34 Comet cruiser in 1/48 scale.
This is the finest resin kit I've ever built, the detail is exquisite throughout, and Tim Perry includes in the box everything you'll need for a truly complete model. He is what comes in the box:
The all resin kit
A huge sheet of photo-etch
Two clear lenses for the turret searchlight.
Two full-body resin figures for the crew.
RB Models made a 77mm gun tube from brass/aluminum for this kit
Also two RB Models Besa MG barrels
Decals for no less than 14 different tanks.
On to pics...
I apologize for taking some liberties with the stowage on "Iron Duke IV", but I had only pics for one side of the tank, and I had to make a few educated guesses, and I deliberately tried to keep the weathering to a minimum, as this was a very new tank, seeing only limited service under combat conditions in the final months of the war.
This model will, in due course, appear in Military In Scale magazine.
All feedback is, of course, more than welcomed, and I thank you in advance for taking the time to look.
Cheers, Pat
