Leo 2 A6M CAN WIP

Now I'm almost done with the hull (Yes, I am a slow modeller), so I thought I'd share a few pics...

I used Bronco tracks and roughed them up with a drill



The road wheels were damaged with a sharp hobby knife













For the anti slip coating I used Mr Surfacer and Cast-a-coat powder







I used Voyagers Leo 2 A5 PE-set. The box for the refuelling funnel (the white thing in the middle) was scratched because Hobby Boss simply forgot it. The gun travel lock is a resin copy of the Tamiya part.





This is the result of about 8 hours soldering...Eduards Slat armor PE.
Before glueing them to the tank I will cut off the lower part to get the short slat segments used with the mine roller version.
