That is something I didn't reference, I was using photos of graveyard tanks for refs,and took it for granted the fenders are steel. good thing you caught this the model is for an article on rust! What I can do is change the color of the obvious rust streaks to resemble worn paint some of the other rusty bits could be draining rusty water.
