Thanks for your comments which are welcome indeed.

I am sorry but in all honestly I am not sure to have understood to what tapering you are referring to so excuse my long next phrasing:

if for tapering you mean that counteweight triangular external sides should not run parallel with tank (and turret ) sides youre completely right. In fact it was the first think I had to correct and it was the easiest as counterweights had to be completely rebuilt anyway. It may not be obovious from photos as the slight inwards tapering can be tricked by the most obvious turret sides convergence but they are like that wink.gif

if for tapering you mean they have to follow the turret sides slope in that case I may say yes and no as I had chance to see both ways and I decided to go for the straight sides version.
