About in last August, The Neo Contest was opened by Hobbist, name of Publisher in Korea.
During Opened, I met some famous modeller with pleasure talk about model.
Between talk with color schme of Germany Tank in the last period of worldwar2,
I find the new approach for capability of the Green contained some Blue.
Surprisingly I find that the art work in the Missing-Linx which was very impressed to me was born same artist. Mirko Bayerl.

This is very interesting to me. therefore, after arriving the home, I have to find his work in the Missing-Lynx.
his work
encourage me to plan my new item, 1/72 IR Panther Using Dragon Models

This is my output of construction processing about 90% for this trial.

In this trial, My target is following:
1. Will be using Dragon Model's Panther because of out of release of Revell Panther G.
2. Will do my best for extreme detailing up the model.
3. In Color scheme, Will be using the mix of Blue for Green Tone.

Step01. The first step is eliminating of guard in DieCast Body. I have filed the fender/guard using small file in the picture.
It's a hard work to me

Step02. Using AB Putty, I have express the smooth texture for sore body.

Step03. Using Tamiya putty, I have express the rough texture represented the real tanks.
This Method was from other artist work. I just do at the dictation of their explain.

Step04. For Using Detial up of the hatch of Driver, some plastic sheet/patch was need.
please compare the size with toothpick

Step05. This is the result of Detailing Driver's hatch. To Drill the Diecast body, I have gone to the key repair service center and need to drill this body.
after drilling, I adjust the shape using file. by the way, The Diecast Body was too thick then, I must insert a spacer to show the sharp top thickness. and just filing...filing...filing...

Step06. This is the picture for show my detailing up caterpillar? this detail up need Part's Etching Set.
Just need... some more time and some more patience...

Step07. in this time, 1/72 IR device is not exist. therefore, I have to create the one using
plastic sheet/patch. please compare this with toothpick and adhesive bottle from Tamiya.

STEP08. this is the result of my work after detailing using Etching Set.
In this time, some aftermaket product require to use. My using list is the following.
PART :
 Part P72086 - Pz.Kpfw.V Panther tracks (PE 1/72)
 Part P72127 - Panther Ausf.G side skirts (PE 1/72)
 Part P72128 - Panther Ausf.G (PE 1/72)
EDUWARD:
 22088 Jagdpanther early
 22069 Panther Ausf.G
ABER
ABER72L02 7,5cm Kwk 42L/70 German Tank Barrel For Panther

The Dragon Kit needed the screw for adhesive the body, and the result, The gap of body appear after completing the construction.
therefore, I have to complete other item to insert the inner of body like as figure for driver.

Step09. In case of Dragon Product, Engine exhaust is not last model of Panther. afterall, I replaced this part to Revell's G part.

Step10. This is connecter attached guard.

compare the size to toothpick. this is very cute to me.

Thank you for reading regard wasting the time.
and I'm sorry for my poor english.

Amazing work

Truly amazing what you are doing with the photoetched details. Are each of the tread guides individual pieces?

Your scratchbuilt IR device is an amazing creation too. Sometimes I wish people didn't paint their models so fellow builders could appreciate all of the amazing work.

Very nice!

Well, this was certainly a wonderful surprise to see, I hope Alex Clark takes a look because this is as good as anything I have seen in a long time. Just wonderful. Big smile on my face. Please post more pictures of the completed vehicle, but closer views...

Excellent!

Inspirational stuff, Mr. Lee - it almost pains me to say, because of this, that personally I think the armour plate texture looks out of scale considering the tiny size of the kit. Do you think it's too late to go back and sand some of it down?

That said, make no mistake - I do admire the patience and attention to detail. I took one look at those Part tracks and vowed never to attempt them myself!

Hello,
What a magnificent work. Great eyes and patience to do it.
If it was in 1/35, it would be impossible to distinguish from a real one.
Best regards,
Luis Alho
