M20 Utility Car

I finished this up yesterday. Now I see a small seam line on the .50 cal cooling jacket that needs attention. I added pe from Aber and some stowage from Legend Productions and the spares box. The .50cal is from Tasca and the slide mount from Dragon. Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome.

Very nice job.

The interior looks fantastic.

The macro camera work is first rate, and at that range you attention to detail really shines through.

I've save the images to inspire me when I get round to working on my M20 (still in it's box).

I have never really liked the M-20 until now. You have done a great job on this. The weathering and the interior is spot on. What .50 cal did you use? The more you look the more detail there is. Also, what colors did you paint the tires? Great job on the stowage as well!!! Great post.

Chris and Aaron: Thanks for looking. I'm still playing around with the lighting for when I shoot in macro. Sometimes I need the flash on the camera and sometimes the pictures come out OK without it. I try to not use it as it dulls the colors somewhat. The poor M20 seems to be the red headed stepchild of the model world. Seems the troops weren't too keen on it either.
Bob: The .50 is from Tasca. Really nice and with some careful cleanup you have a hollowed out cooling jacket. The small pe chains were in the Aber set for the M20. The tire black paint is my own mix. I mix by eye and usually start with ModelMasters Acrylic or Tamiya brands. For MM I use their Panzer Gray as a base and add in black. For Tamiya I start with their Nato black and add in just a little more black.
