Hi everybody,
First of all let me say a big thank you for all of your very friendly comments - in the forum and (in case that we´ve had the chance to meet) at the Euro. All of them are highly appreciated.
Unfortunately we were under heavy time-pressure, which kept us from posting images of the finished piece a bit earlier. But finally here they are. I hope, you´ll like them.

Hi Robert & Sven.

Hello Robert;
I've said it before, and I'll say it again now: my man Sven is one of the most creative guys I've ever met in this hobby, and I respect his work in the highest way possible.
Your figure work is totally smashing as well.
Together, you & Sven make an excellent modelling team. I was refraining to comment on this until I saw it finished, and the wait was definitely worth it.
A thoroughly thought-provoking, and all around excellent effort, from the both of you.
Please accept my sincerest congratulations on a job VERY well done, Robert. Both to you and Sven.
I like it very much. A great idea executed professionaly. I like the perest/past cohesion between the figures. Great grayscale painting and the OBI bucket is also a great touch!

Modelling to think

Yes, that is. Besides the technical excellence, your work invites to a reflection about the pass of time.
The transition in the Sturm is gorgeous, but the transition bw/colour in the figures is even more powerful from the point of view of the story.
One step beyond

... I loved the idea since I first heard about it, but the execution is killing me.
I always loved the work of both of you, but for this one, I´m just missing the words...
Great work!

Very nice, but not the first time it's been done...

Very nicely done indeed. However there was something similar to this several years ago with a grandfather and grandson looking at a Sherman on one side, as a crew member was pulling his gunner out of the turret on the "war" side.

Hi Kyle,
Somebody has mentioned this before and I didn´t understand the meaning of this reply as I had never heard or seen of anything similar. Do you have any link to this scene?

on a job well done guys!
You did an excellent job with the painting of both sides of the model Sven. The Black and White side is unusual to do to say the least, and the 'boring' now side looks very realistic! Your superb figures are the icing on the cake Robert...
