Hi everyone,

I just saw that i never showed anything about part 3 of Diorama Clervaux on ML.
i just finished this part, after 1 year of work, just in time for local expo this weekend where i will display the whole dio for the first time.
Let me start with three reference pictures.

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

First i did the square house. I demolished it a bit to make it smaller
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
i then made the chapels witch tower
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
Here is a picture taken during the build
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
The i scratched the front gate
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
slowly finished it
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

to be able to show you this final pictures today.
I will do a lot morepotos next week, but it is very difficult to capture the whole dio now as it has now 2,2 x 1,5 meter.
The Shermam represents this one, now standing in front of Clervaux castle
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
it is my first tank build in over 5 years, so i hope he is ok.
No time to finish the commader for this weekend.
The horse is a mix of the old Fieldkitchen horse and a newr Dragon horse head. I scrapped the plastic hair and replaced it by real hair from a rabbits pelt.
I will ad a girl sitting in the cart (scratchbuild cart). The cow is MK35 but i changed the head position and shortend the horn.

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Hope you like!

After a few weeks of rest i suppose that i will start part 4!

Thanks for looking

Before i forget

November 6 2009, 9:45 AM

Thank you Petros

Before i forget and get comments about it, i admit that the scene is still a bit empty.
I will not ad a lot, but a half dozen figures will be placed there. I will do them during the next weeks as i need a bit of figure painting training also.

So what will they call...

November 6 2009, 10:56 AM

..the museum that they build to house this? It is without comparison. Mind-bogglingly terrific

Can you give us a few more photos of it? The idea of using rabbit's fur is really smart!
cheers, tracy
