Burnt out JagdTiger

After taking December off to just have fun painting and weathering with need AK products, the urge to rust has returned. I started this model a couple of years ago but was not happy with the paint, weathering and rust. So armed with some lifecolor rust paints I gave it another go. So far only acrylics have been used and the weathering still has to be done...and maybe some pigments.

The first attempt.

Thanks for posting. Love the rusty wire. It adds a delicate touch to the chaos.

Hiya Adam,

And thanks for checking it out and the comment. The wire is very delicate and does add that scale effect. It feels good to do some quick rusting again.
Thanks again and talk soon bro.

Hi Rob,

Looks really nice. But I must say, your first attempt with this one was also pretty good.

Özgür.

I don't like it...

I love it! Very bright and colourful painting! I liked the fist attempt as well, but you chose a more interesting option here.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Dimitris

good to see

January 7 2012, 9:45 PM

great to see you overhaul old builds .I realy like your rust ones and it´s always nice to see the Jagd 2.0 repaint is good to see but see an old build is even as nice as the new one that shows how the builds look in past time . I gues you are the hero as in 2000 with your build but now you are the rustjesus with overhault build happy.gif .I like the decission to repaint older builds ....but i got so many builds in future so i never have time to spent to redo older ones.I think older builds have to stay as they are for watching how you work years ago .Nowadays you use a whole range of new product and it´s good to see how your work with poor mediums in past time to get a good result. I´m sure the painting looks much better now

I realy like to follow your models
