Hello All;
I hope everyone is having a good summer, I know mine is not too bad so far.
I am sharing a few pics of my latest build, it's the Tamiya Hetzer in 1/48 scale. The kit is a good rendition of this cute little TD, and I added a few modest mods, such as the photo-etch set from Lion Roar, along with their turned aluminum gun tube, nothing too extravagant.
On to a few pics......
The kit, un-painted:
...Basic "Silly Putty" Camo, along with the early weathering stages...
...And the finished kit, perhaps desperately defending an intersection in Berlin...?
This kit was lots of fun to build and paint, and I welcome all comments/feedback, as usual, and I thank each of you in advance for taking the time to look.

Beautifully executed

A scheme I really don't like beautifully executed (if that makes any sense). I love the quality of the build, the paint work and weathering, just fantastic.
For some reason though, that scheme doesn't appeal to me(too much green for my tastes or something). Fortunately, what I think is not the gold standard for anything, and I know many love this scheme.
Hard to believe it is 1/48
would you care to share the recipe for your late way faded green?
I've been looking for a better mix for my late war stuff and coming up empty..
what paint did you start with and was it dot-faded, filtered, washed, or pigmented into it's final form?

You keep producing these superb 48th scale builds! I love the finish, especially the minute scratches and other weathering effects on the wheels and side skirts.
