The Post II WW Yugoslavia, between 60-90 was one of the most powerful 3 world nations. What is 3 world nation? does not have anyhting to do with the amount of income. The world was divided into 2 spheres during hte cold war. SOVIET AND AMERICAN... but AS you know ... Yugoslava and many other conuntries did not Join either side. Hence 3 world countries. Yugoslavia was very westernised , even tho it was a Socialist country. It was a leader in Weapons production, technology , engineering, .. so in a way it was a leader for all the other countries that did not belong to the 2 other spheres. The USA was very uneasy about that. They infiltrated The albanians( got them to revolt) ( told the Slovenians that they could have their own country, stirred nationalistic hatred between the serbs muslims and croats by getting to the Greedy politicinas. It was very easy to manipulate the Slavic people with American Cash. It stil lis today. So putting all these corrupt, nationalistic greedy ingridients into the Cauldrin, the endproduct was the breakup of SFRY ( Socialistic Federal Republic Of Yugoslavia). In the end The Americans were All happy.
