Lena, if you want to be heard by others, say it in English--or some other European language. Serbo-Croat is not well known.

I think seriously that people should stop using the word "Europe" under any circumstance for several reasons.
First of all "Europe" is a geographic entity, that is to say a geographic body, considered as what is otherwise called "a continent" with precise geographic boundaries. The Oural and Kavkhaz mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and the Black sea.
Therefore any country within that region and moreover any language spoken within these boundaries is "european", so check out the map of Europe to discover that Serbian, Croatian and Macedonian are well european languages. Only afterwards should you believe that the European Union is a whole state and should add "Union" when spoking about the European Union in geographic terms, so that people could understand what you really mean.

...but when I said "some other European language" I did not say or imply that Serbian was less European than French. It's just that if we want to make here the case for Serbia, we ought to do it using a more common language.

I am positivly sure that shiptars been thru some very bad time during their rebellion but I think that is the way any country will deal with guerillas.

I think that Milosevichs brutality was very good for Shiptars cause.
That was brutal regime for serbs 2 but we have no other country but Serbia, at least u have ur own country Albania so u were in better position to resist.
But let's be honest for Shiptars that was not at all about Miloshevich or human rights or I dont know what... you never even show effort to help us by your votes on elections.
Also I have few Shiptar friend that live in Belgrade since they where borne and they still live here free as I am.
One of them manage to go live in Sweeden and he used that story about repression to make that possible, we used to laugh about that, unfortunatlly for me I couldnt use that story cuz I am Serb and cant get no visa 4 nowhere now I am still in Belgrade:(
They never have any ethnicaly caused problems but also never take no wepons to resolve their problems of any kind.

I was Arrested and send to war, partly because almost 2.000.000 (wich would be enough) Shiptars from Kosovo didnt want to participate in elections to vote against him for any party.
Because Miloshevich suits you at the time.
I personally never ever saw someone doing things like that, I am not sayin that was never happend cause I heard that was happend on all sides I saw results of that kind of shit.
But u see my friend, that killing happens not on kosovo but in bosnia.

That is orinary war crime but as you maybe know serbs are not the one to invented it, faschist invented mass murdering but you should know that because last time Kosovo was out of Serbia it was under Albanian goverment in WWII and Albanians have their own SS Division so if you ask your grandfather about mass murdering you will find out that there is much better ways then bullet in the back for that purpose.

Half of my mother familly from croatia was killed in croatian death camps during the WWII.
