Hi there, I am looking at replacing the left hand hood section on my 50 half ton. I found a complete hood (both sides with center) for sale but it is off a "dually" so I would assume it is probably a 1 ton or heavier duty. The pictures look pretty simillar, but does anyone know if it will fit? Thanks, Jay

How much do they charge for a hood now a days? Mine has a rip in the center portion.

Saw one on ebay a few days ago. Believe starting price was around $45 and there were no takers. Seller wasn't offering much help with shipping which made the buy unattractive to me--I could use a driver side leaf.

The one on Ebay is the one I'm looking at. I emailed the seller and the shipping will most likely be quite a bit more than the purchase price and I don't live that far away. I still think that I will buy it. If I do, I will be willing to sell the center and right sides out to anyone that needs them. Jay

I have a 49 1/2 ton I bought for parts a few years ago and I just about took everything off I want. I would like to get rid of the rest and I am not looking to make money on it.
